Privacy Policy
Last Updated: September 11, 2026
The short version: the plugins send us nothing unless you choose to answer NeoGrow's deactivation survey, this website has no accounts and takes no payments, and the only personal data we are ever likely to hold is what you choose to send us: an email, a survey answer, or your address if you join the NeoGrow Pro waitlist.
1. The Core Philosophy: Data Sovereignty
Our software is built on the principle of data sovereignty. When you install our plugins (such as NeoGrow, NeoLite Disable Reviews, or NeoLite Birthday Bash) on your WooCommerce store, your end-customer data remains entirely on your own servers. We do not harvest, track, or intercept your store’s private transaction data, customer reviews, or loyalty points. All processing happens natively within your WordPress database.
2. What the Plugins Send Us
The plugins contain no telemetry, no usage analytics and no license checks, and none of them contacts us on its own. We run no licensing server, so installing or using a plugin never tells us where it is installed.
There is one exception, and it only happens if you choose it: when you deactivate NeoGrow, it offers a short survey asking why. Nothing is sent if you skip it. If you submit it, your website (not your browser) sends us:
- Always: the reason you picked, anything you typed in the comment box, and the plugin's name and version.
- Only if you also tick "Also send diagnostic data" (it starts unticked): your site's URL, your WordPress, PHP and WooCommerce versions, your active theme, the list of active plugins, your site language, whether WooCommerce's order storage (HPOS) is switched on, and how many days NeoGrow was installed.
- Recorded by our server: the IP address the request came from, which is your web server's address, not a visitor's.
We use survey answers only to understand why people stop using NeoGrow and to reproduce compatibility problems. They are never sold or shared. To have yours deleted, email contact@neoplugin.com with the site URL it came from, or the date you sent it if you did not share diagnostics.
3. What This Website Collects
This site is a set of static pages. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and has no accounts to register for and no checkout. Every font, script and image is served from this site itself, so loading a page sends your IP address to no one but our web host. Two things are still worth naming:
- Server logs: our web host records ordinary request logs, including IP address, user agent and the page requested. They exist for security and troubleshooting.
- The NeoGrow Pro waitlist: if you join it, the email address you enter is sent to Formspree (formspree.io), the form service that delivers it to us, and is handled there under Formspree's own privacy policy. We use it for the one thing the form promises: a single email at launch with the purchase link. To be taken off the list, email contact@neoplugin.com.
Before this version of the policy, pages also loaded the Inter typeface from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com, fonts.gstatic.com) and the Alpine.js library from jsDelivr (cdn.jsdelivr.net), and both of those services saw your IP address when a page loaded. Both are now served from this site.
4. Support Correspondence
If you email us, we hold what you send: your name and email address, and whatever diagnostic material you attach — typically a WooCommerce system status report, error logs or screenshots. Support email is read only by the operator of NeoPlugin.
Please strip anything you would rather we did not have before sending. We ask for a system status report, never for your customer records. Anything you post on a WordPress.org support forum is public and governed by the WordPress.org privacy policy rather than this one.
5. Payments
We take no payments at present. There is no payment gateway on this site today and we hold no card or billing details of any kind. That will change when NeoGrow Pro is released: Pro will be sold direct on this website and, once the listing is approved, through the WooCommerce Marketplace. Before any checkout goes live here we will update this section to name the payment processor we use, say what it receives and what we can see of it, and give the date the change took effect. A Marketplace purchase is handled entirely by the Marketplace under its own privacy policy; we would receive sales reporting from it, not your payment details.
6. Sharing
We do not sell, rent or trade personal information, and we share it with nobody beyond the infrastructure needed to run the site and receive email — currently our web host and our email provider, who process it on our behalf.
7. Your Rights and How to Reach Us
Depending on where you live, including under the GDPR, you may have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, and to have it corrected or deleted. Since the only thing we are likely to hold is an email thread, that usually amounts to asking us to delete it. Write to support@neoplugin.com and we will action it.
